Accommodation

One of the first challenges for many when the start college life is moving out of home. There are so many things to think about when you are looking for, and even when you find, a place to live. To help you make the transition between living at home and moving into a new place for college, this section has a guide that has a few tricks and tips and contact details if you have any further questions.
Where to search for Accommodation:
-
These days there are a myriad of places to look for your new place. The most established would be daft.ie. Here you can search for shared accommodation and set up a profile to narrow down your search. Very handy!
-
However, we also have a super handy online Accommodation Listing. There are some landlords who have built up good experiences renting to DIT students, and they often just advertise their property directly through us. Make sure you check it out.
-
College Cribs works in a sililar fashion to DAFT, however it is aimed directly at students. Well worth a look.
-
There is also a DIT Facebook Group which acts as a message board for students looking for others to rent with.
- Once you start at DIT you could keep an eye out on the Noticeboards or talk to other students to see if anyone else is in the same boat.
You can also contact us on the contact details below if you want to know something urgently. We are always on hand to help you out.
While every effort is made to ensure that these lists are up to date you may find that some of the accommodation listed may be no longer available, please contact us at accommodation@ditsu.ie for any clarifications.
