Part Time Students
So you're a part-time student. We know that your needs are different from a full-time student. You want a no nonsense way to get the information you need, whether its about your course, DIT facilities or exams and assessments. Most part-time students are also evening students, which can mean that it can be difficult for you to access DIT Departments or even to know where to go when you need help.
We have put together this page to specifically serve your needs. If there is anything missing here, please let us know by getting in touch by email.
Class Reps
Decide on a Class Representative. Anyone can contact us at anytime, but if you have a class rep it makes it easier for communication purposes, when it comes to class issues.
Just send us a bit of information (below) about yourself to parttime@ditsu.ie with Part-Time Student in the subject line. We will then send you information on the Class Rep Meetings, which you probably won't attend because of other committments, but it means that you will receive agendas/minutes so that you can keep up to date on important issues.

All Class Reps should sit on their Programme Committees, which should meet at least once a semester, this is a chance for students and staff to sit down and discuss success as well as failures within the course and how to resolve any issues.
