Croke Park Charity Abseil
DITSU have teamed up with Jigsaw to give you the opportunity to abseil off Croke Park for charity. We are looking for people of all ages to take part in this event which will support Jigsaw our student chosen charity partner.
Last year we ran out of places for interested people so this year we have increased the capacity and WE WANT YOU!!
This event is open to all members of the public. (families and friends welcome)
SATURDAY 28TH OCTOBER: SAVE THE DATE!
How much is the abseil?
You must raise €250 to take part in the abseil, €50 of this is your non-refundable registration fee which covers the cost of your Abseil and the further €200+ will be donated directly to Jigsaw.
How do I raise the money needed?
You can ask your friends, family or anyone you know to sponsor you with the donation card. You can hold events like bake sales, quizzes to help you.
How does it work?
Once you raise the amount required you will be allocated a time slot. You arrive in Croke park and register, our volunteers will lead you up onto the top of Croke Park. A professional adventure agency will then attach you onto a secure harness and you will abseil down Croke Park. There will be photographers there to capture the day and you will receive a certificate.
Can I raise money online?
Yes, we recommend using everydayhero.ie it’s a really convenient way of fundraising online. We even made a guide to help you do it here.
Will I be safe?
Yes, The Adventure Agency are professionals who regularly host abseils, they are safety experts and you will be secure at all times.
So I get to have an awesome day abseiling Croke Park and help charity is there anything else?
YES everyone taking part will get a certificate, refreshments and an afterparty for all the participants and volunteers.
Will there be a photographer?
Yes. Our photographer will get pictures of everyone taking part.
What happens if I don’t raise the full amount?
You cannot take part, it is essential each participant raises a minimum of €250.
What happens if I raise more than €250?
All of the money raised will go to the charity, we will have prizes for those who the extra mile. (Last year we gave mountain bikes to those who raised the most!)
