~ Full Time Sabbatical Positions ~
The term ‘Sabbatical’ describes a student who takes a year out of college to hold an elected office in the Students’ Union. The sabbatical officer sits on all committees of the DIT for a whole year
representing all DIT students.
There are three full-time paid elected offices in the DIT Students’ Union, as per the Constitution of the Students’ Union. These are President, Vice President for Academic & Student Affairs and
Vice President for Services & Trading.

~ Part Time Class Rep Convenor Positions ~
The
Class REP Convenor on each site is responsible for chairing all Class
REP meetings and the LPIT (who have input in running local events and
campaigns). They are the main point of contact for any local site
related issues. They also work closely with the other Convenors and
Sabbaticals to co-ordinate the Unions activities. It is a part-time paid
position.
