Rules & Regs

All registered students of DIT sign a declaration when they enrol which states that they agree to be bound by all college regulations.
In general the areas covered are what you’d expect and are similar to most higher education institutions, stuff like paying fees, registration, copyright, using IT resources, the Library and the General Assessment Regulations (which covers how the exams & assessments ).
Failure to comply with any of the regulations can lead to disciplinary action being taken. If this happens you should contact the Students' Union as we will advise you on your rights and represent you in any hearing that may occur.
Any
breaches of the General Assessment Regulations are considered
'academic misconduct'.
We strongly recommend that
anyone facing such allegations should contact the Students’ Union
immediately for specific advice about their situation.
Any queries about the rules and regulations can be addressed to Clare Cullen (VP Academic & Student Affairs) or Mary Scally (Director of Academic Affairs).
