REGISTERING in DIT 2010
Hey Guys!
Your Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs here, just to give you a quick update about registration and the likes! The capitation fee this year is staying at €1,500- It didn’t go up, praise Jebus!
Everyone this year will be registering online at www.dit.ie/registrations. Give that a click and go check it out, it’s fairly straightforward. There are ‘register’ and ‘register without paying’ options – so if you need a little more time to get the capitation fee together you can still register and get your student card. Don’t forget that a late fee applies after October so don’t take too long!
Every first year this year will be collecting their student cards in DIT Aungier Street, no matter which site they will be studying on. There will be Induction sessions and possibly events on in each campus at some point during Inductions week, so make sure you know what day you should be in Aungier Street and what days to be in your own site so you don’t miss the craic or the all-important site tour!
This years DIT Student ID cards will last four years- we used to work on a year-to-year basis but it’s all a-changing. So make sure you get a picture you are happy with because you’ll be stuck with that bad boy for four long (and awesome) years!
Returning Students:
If you visit the Useful Links section of the Registrations area of the DIT website you will find a link (second from bottom of the list) to a document which will tell you when and where you can pick up your new card.
That’s about it, if you have any more questions please email me at vpacademic@ditsu.ie
Cant wait to meet you!!
