Session to Assist Students with Grant Applications & Finding Accommodation
DIT Students’ Union in conjunction
with the Union of Students in Ireland (USI) held a Grant &
Accommodation Information Session on August the 14th, DIT Aungier st, Dublin 2, at 16.00.
The information session was aimed at students and the parents of students
who are either returning to or starting college this year.
If you missed it and cannot find out what you need to know her on our site please call to any DIT Students Union office and we will help.
Free practical help is available to students or parents who may need assistance filling
out the relevant application forms.
SU President,
Ciarán Nevin, said:
“August can be a very hectic
time with leaving cert results, CAO offers etc. DIT Students’
Union in conjunction with the USI are working to try and make the transition
into the college year as easy as possible.
Finding accommodation if you
are moving away from home or completing the grant application form can
often be a daunting task but free practical help is at hand from your
local Students’ Union. If your are unsure about the grant application
form or if you qualify for a grant, drop into our information session
where there will be a wealth of experience available to answer your
queries.”
