USI Rent Book Launch

The USI Rent Book Launch happened in DIT Aungier Street on Tuesday, 17th August 2010.
The USI Rent Book is a guide to the rental market for students and includes information on the obligations and rights of tenants, the Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB) and safety and standards in rented accommodation. It is an important publication at this time of year with so many students getting ready to attend third-level institutions over the coming weeks, many for the first time.
The booklet deals with a broad range of tenant and landlord issues in a clear and comprehensive way, so if your are renting - make sure you have one.
Pick them up from any DIT students union office.
The USI RENT BOOK 2010 will be launched by Mr. Michael Finneran T.D., Minister for Housing and Local Services and a representative of the PRTB and will be hosted by USI Welfare Officer- Rebecca Murphy and DITSU.
