Hello again,
Elections are underway and the
place is buzzing with people shouting “vote for *insert name here*”…
But lets not forget Art & Design Week!!!
This year there is a bit of
an issue with Mountjoy Square and RAG Week and our Review Week, unfortunately
they fall on the same week L. Tragic, right? No! Not all is lost,
Art & Design Week is on the 1st to the 5th
of March. Its something we are considering as our own personal RAG Week
in Mountjoy Square so lets make it EPIC!!!
We have the launch of the exhibition
in Mountjoy on the 1st and another launch in Aungier St on
Wednesday night. We will be having on-site events across all sites and
a graffiti party on the Thursday night so come along and have a laugh
with us.
Obviously Art & Design Week
would not happen without some art and design work to display, so get
your creative hats on and submit work to your local Student Union office
to be in with a chance to win cash prizes! Deadline is Friday the 26th
so better get it in soon. If you have any questions just mail me at convenor.msq@ditsu.ie or call into your local Students Union.

Hay all,
Just a quick bit of good news, we finally got our TV in the canteen. Whoop whoop! This means we can advertise on it! We can put info up on it! We can have our pizza and popcorn filled movie nights again! We can watch Maury at lunch again and find out who the real father is, YAY!!!
So welcome back to college after Christmas people, DIT’s gift to you, a 50 inch plasma!

Union of Students Ireland Annual Congress: 30th March - 2nd April
USI Annual Congress kicks off next semester on the 30th of March and runs up until the 2nd of April. Any student may apply and closing date is 5.00pm sharp on the February 18th 2010. Congress is a place where all student representatives from all over Ireland get to debate and mandate USI. It is a great opportunity to have an input on how our National Union runs while also getting the chance to socialise with other peers. Everything is paid for and you get to represent DIT at a national level. If you are good at speaking in public, have an opinion on just about anything and are interested in getting involved please email Claire at administrator@ditsu.ie
