Clubs, Societies & Services

College life is not all about academic work - it is also a real opportunity to get to know other students, from all over Ireland and from many other countries. DIT endeavours to ensure education embraces the full life, including the visual, creative and performing arts, athletes and sport, clubs and societies, community service and the whole range of activities that make life worth living.

Clubs and Societies are an essential part of life in any third-level institute, and there are over 150 clubs and societies throughout DIT. All student are encouraged to take part in at least some of the activities that interest them, for the social as well as the educational benefits.
