C.S.R. Policy in DITSU
In 2004/2005 DIT Students’ Union introduced a Corporate Social Responsibility programme in response to the Tsunami disaster in Indonesia. DITSU sponsored two ex sabbatical officers who volunteered to spend 6 weeks working in the worst affected areas. In 2005/2006 DIT Students’ Union sponsored three students who worked in various projects from working in a Tsunami Volunteer Centre to refurbishing old computer for communities in Kenya.
