Hey Guys
So the madness of Election Week is over and the college is returning to normal! Congratulations to all who took part in the elections - the candidates, campaign teams, counters and all in Comms who had the DITSU TV up and running for a live stream... and also thank you for coming out to vote! Well done to our newly elected sabbatical team who will start their term on the 1st of July.
So next week is RAG Week and Sean has lots of great events organised both for day time and night time! Its gonna be a great week... So don’t forget to donate to the charity! If everyone in DIT gave €1 we would raise approx €30,000 come on we can do it! Our target is €30,000 so get out next week and make it happen! All night time events can be found on the DIT Students Union Facebook page!! So take a look...
I'm off to Amsterdam next week so I'm gonna bring the DITSU SHITSU with me but don't tell anyone!
Enjoy RAG week and get raising!!!
See you all soon,
Suzann x

3. Union of Students Ireland Annual Congress: March 30th - April 2nd
USI Annual Congress kicks off next semester on the 30th of March and runs up until the 2nd of April. Any student may apply and closing date is 5.00pm sharp on the February 18th 2010. Congress is a place where all student representatives from all over Ireland get to debate and mandate USI. It is a great opportunity to have an input on how our National Union runs while also getting the chance to socialise with other peers. Everything is paid for and you get to represent DIT at a national level. If you are good at speaking in public, have an opinion on just about anything and are interested in getting involved please email Claire at administrator@ditsu.ie
